Antique buttons such as this exquisite sterling hound head once graced the front of  hunting, hacking and shooting jackets. This example was originally created in brass and then cast in silver.  Measuring approximately 1 1/8" in diameter, this button has been prong set in sterling silver and transformed into a pendant then suspended from a lovely 18" necklace of offset knotted cord punctuated with Swarovski pearls.
