At the center of this complex murrina is a detailed lion surrounded by the quote "We Will Never Forget". The entire center motif is framed with a romanesque detailing and work is fully cut, polished and beveled. It is a good example of Mathieu's artistry, showcasing his attention to detail and ability to create complex composite portraits with multiple fused murrine components.
